Installed successfully, but cannot get the height and width settings to have any effect, whether you set them in the module itself, or in the plugin css. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply.

Yes, you set the width and height using the tag "width" and "height".

Details here: How to use the "Pausing up-down Scroller" plugin #5 and #6
http://www.kksou.com/php-gtk2/Joomla/Pausing-up-down-Scroller-plugin.php#how_to_use

You can also set it in the .css file "pausing_up_down_scroller.css" located in the folder: plugins/content/pausing_up_down_scroller/pausing_up_down_scroller

Hi ... love your plugin/module ...

My problem is that I am trying to get 2 instances of the module playing on my website, one in a wide single line scroller toolbar, and another in a narrow sidebar module. The display for each module is setup using different custom css code in the pscroller css file.

Each module displays perfectly when only the one selected is published.

However when I turn on the toolbar module, the sidebar module changes its format height and width to that of the toolbar module.

How do I get the 2 modules playing simultaneously - without one affecting the display properties of the other ...

I have setup different pscroller css code and id's for each module ... but this does not seem to work.

Your help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

I can help, but you have to help me help you.

Can you please set up 3 test pages:
1) The first page containing only the toolbar.
2) The second page containing only the sidebar.
3) The third page containing both toolbar and sidebar (the one you said that's not working).

Please give me the url of the 3 pages so that I can do a view source and see what's the problem. (most likely it's the css)

Hi,

Can you please email me the complete tag that you've used? Think it's due to some characters within your tag.

Hi,

It might be conflicts with your other plugins or modules.

To ascertain this, install a fresh install of Joomla somewhere on your site, then install just this plugin and see if it works. This will allow you to see if the plugin work on your machine at all.

Hi,

Sincerely apologize for the late reply.

If only the code shows on the page, it means the plugin has not been processed at all. Can you please double check that the plugin has been enabled?

If the plugin has been enabled, then it could be conflicts with other plugins. Try shifting the order of the plugin to 0 or 1 so that it is the first few plugins to be processed.

Please give the above a try and let me know if it works, ok?

Warm Regards,
/kksou
