Now that Joomla 2.5 is out, I need to maintain ALL 5 versions of Joomla every time I release a plugin or module - for Joomla 1.0, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7 and 2.5! As you can imagine - writing the codes, making sure they work for all platforms and setting up the downloading packages and zip files - all these take a lot of time.
Out of curiosity, are there still anyone using my plugins and modules for Joomla 1.0?
Am I wasting my time maintaining the version for Joomla 1.0 if no one is using them?
If you are Joomla 1.0 users, would be great if you can write a few words in the comment area below - let me know if I should continue putting in effort to include Joomla 1.0 in the roll out of newer versions of plugins and modules (e.g. DirectPHP, Google Search, googleMaps, Google Weather, Google Currency Converter, etc.)
If I receive less than 10 comments by March 2012, I would presume that there are no one using the Joomla 1.0 plugins/modules and I will just skip Joomla 1.0 for all future releases.
Let me know, ok?

Thank you for all your hard work...

Thanks for the encouraging notes from both of you.
Yes, you're right, Dave. Looking at the log, there are still a significant percentage of users downloading the Joomla 1.0 and 1.5 versions.
Guess I'll continue with Joomla 1.0 for a while. It's just that every time I roll out a new release (e.g. the recent googleMaps v2.5.19 update), I have to test the plugin for all 5 platforms - Joomla 1.0, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7 and 2.5 - and maintaining the codes for all 5 platforms (each version has some subtle differences here and there) is becoming more difficult...
