I am working with joomla 1.7. The google weather API works fine before. Just on one day I receive a lot of error messages. Is google not supporting the API anymore? Do you have a replacement?

Hi Yvonne,

Please refer to the article: http://www.kksou.com/php-gtk2/Joomla-News/Google-has-stopped-its-Google-Weather-API.php

It's confirmed that Google has stopped its Google Weather API service entirely since August 7th!

Will try to come with some alternative solutions ASAP so that your Google Weather module will continue to work.

Will keep all of you posted of the progress, ok?

Regards,

Searched all over for the latest (2.5)version, this is NOT on joomla.org's extension list and it is the only weather module that allows my users to enter in the name or zip of their *destination* by city name/state or just zipcode. No fuss to set up, easy API access, and FREE!? Truly amazing goodness. Might want to put this back where people can find -- and love -- it!
