Problem
You would like to enable interactive search in a GtkTreeView as shown below:
Solution
- If you set GtkTreeView::set_enable_search(true), the interactive search box will automatically appear when you start typing. Note: This seems to work only on linux, NOT on windows.
- If you set GtkTreeView::set_enable_search(false), the interactive search box will only appear when you type CTRL-F.

- On linux, just start typing any character and the interactive search will appear. On windows, you have to press CTRL-F.
Note
