Problem

When user select Edit Copy or press Ctrl-C, you want to copy the data of the selected row to Clipboard (which can then be pasted to Notepad or Microsoft Excel) as shown below:

Explanation

The above sample code is based on How to display a 2D array in GtkTreeView - Part 5 - get user selection? and How to set up menu and radio menu - Part 3 - add accelerators?

What's new here:

  1. Set up the clipboard.
  2. Retrieve the value of the entire row and copy it into the clipboard. The data is tab-delimited so that when copied into Microsoft Excel, they appear as columns of data.
