I did find the instructions pertaining setting a specific travel mode for googleDirections_to_here

ex: mode=driving

But this is hard coded into the direction search. Is there a way to add the mode of transportation as an option as in Google Maps:



Even if it's just checkbox options that would be fine. I'm just not seeing this in the instructions anywhere.

Sincerely apologize for the late reply.

If you take a look at joomla.org, there are so many plugins there for googleMaps and googleDirections.

I've tested a lot there. But I find some of them too heavyweight, and some of them too complicated to use. That's why I decide to write my own - something lightweight and simple. All I want is to display a simple googleMap in my article, or a direction from A to B.

That's why my plugin does not have many fancy features like others in joomla.org. It's designed this way.

If you need the feature that you have described, I believe there are many more powerful and feature-rich plugins in joomla.org that can meet your need. You may want to test some of them and find one that you like.
