Hi,

As you can see, you tags are ok. That's why the map appears.

Can you please give me the url of the website that displays the map? Need to do a view source to find out more clues as to what might be the problem.

Also, can you please double check that you have enabled the plugin?

Regards,
/kksou

Hi KKsou, Many thanks for you patience here :)

Yes the plugin is definately enabled - I checked again this morning

The site involved is for Chinese students and is at www.BestStudentAccommodation.co.uk. so much of the text is in chinese!
The map (should) appear on the Portsmouth tab (an English page :))... you will see the code there.

Please let me know if I can be on any help...

The only thing I can think of is that I have not completed the install properly.

I have created a googleMaps API key and installed it in the plugin - could it be something in this set up that I have done incorrectly?

Can you give me the url so that I can do a view source of the page to see if I can gather more clues from there?

Hi,

Did a view source. The plugin is not there at all.

Did you install the plugin? (Please go to the Plugin Manager and check if googleMaps plugin is there.)

If yes, can you double check that you have enabled the plugin.

Regards,
/kksou

HI KKsou,
HUGE apology - I have now found the problem, and surprise, surprise it’s me!
I had installed the plugin, and activated it - only I failed to notice the ACCESS option was set to SPECIAL??
Now set to public and of course therefore visible. I just missed it - pretty sure I did not set it up as such so is that the default??
I am sorry to have taken your time for such a thing but thank you for your perseverance... I do like the plugin and just know its going to be so useful.
