Joomla 1.5.26
GoogleSearch 1.5.15

The module has been working for years, but suddenly it shows no results any more.
The only thing that has changed, is an upgrade to Joomla 1.5.26. Could this be of influence?

Any help is appreciated, because I have no idea where to start looking.

I noticed in the Error Console a very long message, starting with
Security Error: Content at http://www.google.com/search?domains=&sitesearch=mysite
further down the error message
countryNL may not load data from http://mysite.nl/index.php?option=com_googlesearch&n=30&Itemid=&domains=&sitesearch=mysite.nl
Could this be the problem?

If you try the search on my site (kksou.com), you will see that it's still working. This means that the Google Search API is still working.

The error message is also not generated from my component. What this means is that it could be because of your recent upgrade, or any other plugins or modules that you have installed.

The surest way to test this is to set up a fresh install of Joomla 1.5.26 somewhere on your server, then install just the google search component/module. This will allow you to see if the component still works on your server.

If it works, then you need to try figure out what might be the component, plugin or module that generated the above error message - "Security Error" & "countryNL".

By the way, any other error messages that you see on the page itself? Did the search field appear? Did the error occur only after you pressed the search button?

Thank you for your reply.

The error I mentioned is listed as a message, so not really as an error. It shows up right after I press the search button.
The search button shows just fine.

I did a fresh install of Joomla 1.5.26 (locally), installed version 1.5.15 of the Google Search component and module.
I entered my Adsence publisher no. and left everything as were.
If I leave your website name entered in the component, I only get Google results ( I don't know if it's supposed to work, but I thought I'd try). Same result if I enter my own domain: only Google results, no results specific for my site.

However, locally I don't get the security error message.

In the PHP error log, I noticed the following error:
PHP Notice: Undefined index: width_searchfield_module in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/test_1526/administrator/components/com_googlesearch/controller.php on line 42
Could this have anything to do with it?

Any other thoughts?

Well, I get search results, but they're not displayed in the site, but in a standard Google page.
