Hi,
I suppose you know how to create a content item in Joomla.
Once you have created a new content item, you can paste the code anywhere in the content item.
The menu will appear where you paste the code.
Interesting, the code you pasted appeared in your post too!

/kksou

Hi kksou,
I want to replace the top menu with a drop down menu something like what you for your top navigation. Is there a free joomla component / module available for this?
Thank you.

I am wondering about this too. When I put the code in a custom module, I get this text:
I have the plugin installed.
Thank you,
Bobby

Hi Bobby,
Did you enable the plugin?
Also, please check with the following sample code again:
Drop Down Menu sample code
Your menu items definitions do not seem to include any of the [a href] links. You need those defined in your menu items.

Help. I am using Joomla 1.5.7 and a modified rhuk_milkway template. The links display but as a block and the curly brackets also show. I have tried this both within div tags and without and neither seem to work.
Please help as I have racked my brains for most of this evening trying to get it right.
Thanks in advance.

I am new to Joomla. I'm trying to set up a drop-down menu and am really confused.
I am having trouble understand how I should set up the content in Joomla.
I am trying to do a simple set-up, with 2 tabs - "About us", and another tab which would be the drop-down menu.
I have tried various cobinations of setting up the data, but I cannot figure out what I am supposed to do.
Isn't the tab supposed to be a menu ?
Shouldn't I be making a topmenu, and assigning the elements to it (in this case, 1 article, and one menu, which will drop down) ?
I'm really unclear about what I need to doand am almost in tears with trying to undertand this....
And I'm confused by the advice being given from other web-sites.
Can anyone explain it, simply ? Perhaps with a few screen shots ?
Please help !
Diana.
