Running Joomla 1.5 + Xampp + XP + Bicolor template.
The dropdown menu showed up horizontally instead of vertical.
Please advise - thanks.

1) Please try the plugin on the default Joomla template. Did it work?
2) If (1) did not work, please try the plugin on a fresh install of Joomla. This will allow you to know if the plugin works on your machine at all.
3) If (1) or (2) works, then it must be the css problem. You need to try to tweak the ddlevelsmenu.css in the folder "plugins/content/DropDownMenuApplestyle" so that it works with your template.
Every template is different. I've not used your template before, so it's difficult for me to help you here. If you're not familiar with css, you might need to get one of your friends who are familiar with css to help you in this.

Hi kksou,
Thanks for your prompt reply!
Did immediately what you suggest and ... you're right! Using the standard Joomla testsite everything functions.
So, it must be within my Bicolor template.
I have to dig into it now ... .
greetz,
