Target issue in Drop Down Menu Apple style 5 Years, 9 Months ago Karma: 0
Dear KKsou,

Hope you are doing fine..

I am trying to implement Drop Down Menu Apple style to my site and found that its removing right hand side module on link click.
please have a look on this and advice me so i can implement this in full fledge..

Joomla: 1.5.9
Template: JSN

How to reproduce the error:
1. Click on http://bangaloreorbit.com/historical/mysore.html
2. Now click on first button "About Mysore"
3. You will notice that it removed all right module and taking place of that..

basically i want, it should be open in same place and do not remove right side module on click.
any help????

Raj

Hi Raj,

Sorry for the late reply. Have been busy with some other projects lately.

Just went to the website you mentioned above. But I did not see the button "About Mysore".

By the way, as I've mentioned elsewhere on this forum, for a menu such as the one you have in mind, you should implement it in your template, as oppose to using a module like this. It will be much cleaner and more tightly integrated to Joomla (e.g. with the Menu Manager).

If you're still interested to use this, you might want to get someone who're familiar with css to help you. Most of the time, it's issues with css. As I'm not familiar with your template and I don't have access to your backend, it will be very difficult for me to find out what might be the problem.

Regards,
/kksou

Thanks for you reply...

If possible, please try once more and let me know your inputs.

To reproduce the error...

Click on below link...you can find many module resided in right side.
http://www.bangaloreorbit.com/historical-places-in-karnataka/mysore.html

Once you click on "About Mysore", it will open another page and right module will be removed.

I have this template, please let me know if you want...

Hi Raj,
I saw on your site that you had managed to add the drop down menu. How did you over come the problem? I also want to add the drop down menu in the top but, at the moment, when i try to add it, it would display the menu but, the drop down links appear behind the content on the front page and the left side menus.

Your help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Ronnie
