first of all i want to apologize if i start a thread in wrong topic..

i need help in writing a code to handle a POS system.

currently i developed a POS system which is 95% finished and currently is already in implementation stage.. my problem is with the cash drawer, is it possible to write a code to unsure the cash drawer to stop kicking? because in certain occasion with the cash drawer which is i dun want it to kick out; IE when i just want to print a reciept, the cash drawer still kicking and also to write a code to POLL DISPLAY, i already try some code with API command but the message display like a stone age language

currently i using PHP code.. i used web based because this system is merge with the inventory system so i can compare the input(sales) and the output(sales item)
