Adding this is not a problem.
But I'm not too sure what would be the appropriate user interface for this.
If you could point me to some of those that you've seen with good user interface for the last search/most search/ tag cloud, then I should be able to come out with something similar.

Yes, now I saw it. The last time I went there those were not there.
There are already many plugins on "Popular Searches", "Bookmarks" and "Tag Clouds" in extensions.joomla.org.
I think I will just have the googleSearch stay clean and simple, just like what google is doing.
If you need any of those, you can easily download any of them from extensions.joomla.org.
