Hi,

if ($path == "/language") $path = "/direct/path/to/language";

For this line work fine:
Have I create the path "/direct/path/to/language" in my site?

Thanks,

This is a bug in the module mod_googleSearch, as you can see by looking at the source code of my page. You get something like this :
Code:
<form method="get" action="index.php" id="mod_googleSearch">

The action is wrong, it should be an absolute link, like /index.php.

To: Fernando, and others who experienced the error "JFolder::folder: Path is not a folder: /language"

I've just followed what you've suggested and changed the action to the fullpath.

Could you please download and try the latest version
Joomla 1.0.x: com_googleSearch_v1.0.12.zip
Joomla 1.5.x: com_googleSearch_v1.5.12.zip

Joomla 1.0.x: mod_googlesearch_v1.0.12.zip
Joomla 1.5.x: mod_googlesearch_v1.5.12.zip

Note:
1) Just uninstall your old version and reinstall the new version
2) Before uninstalling, you might want to take note of your settings in the config page as your old settings will be removed when you uninstall.

Let me know if this version resolves the error.

Regards,
/kksou

Hi,

I'm more than happy to help solve the "JFolder::folder: Path is not a folder: /language" bug.

However, as noted earlier, I've problem replicating this on my system.

If anyone of you is keen to get this bug fixed, I can help. However, you have to allow me to
- telnet into your system (as I need to go direct to some of those sh404 files to trace down the bug)
- log on to your joomla site as administrator

I would be more comfortable if it's a development system as oppose to a live site - as I might need to echo some debugging statements during the process of debugging. Also, please do a backup of your joomla site, if possible, just in case.

If you're keen, drop me an email, and I should be able to debug it within a couple of hours.

Regards,
/kksou
