Problem Suppose you would like to use show_all() on the top level window, but you want to exclude some hidden widgets as shown below.
When you click on the "Show Treeview" button, you will get the following:
Solution
- We can exclude widgets from
show_all() by setting those widgets you wish to exclude with set_no_show_all(true).
- To show these excluded widgets, don't forget to set
set_no_show_all(false).

What's new here:
- Exclude the treeview from show_all().
- Show all! Note that treeview is now hidden.
- Release the exclude. Don't forget this! Otherwise treeview will not be shown.
- Show the treeview.
