Problem
This is in response to vlada's post titled "Automatic scrolling".
He has inserted some items in a linear list using GtkTreeView, and he would like to the treeview to automatically scroll to the newly inserted item as shown below:
Solution
- First find out the total number of rows in the list using GtkTreeModel::iter_n_children().
- Then use GtkTreeView::scroll_to_cell() to scroll to the last row (assuming that you have have appended the new item to the last row).
