PHP is so popular. I always thought PHP-GTK would be as popular, if more people knew about this, and if there were more documentation on using this wonderful tool.

I was tasked to develop an application on PHP-GTK2 in early 2006. Due to the lack of documentation, I have spent countless hours digging out whatever I can find on the Internet, and going through numerous trials and errors.

I thank the many people out there who have helped me along the way. Just wanted to contribute something back.

I structured this website such that each article tackles one commonly encountered problem or question in php-gtk2. I will always give a simple yet complete sample code followed by explanations.

Hope some of these examples could save you some time. And I hope more people would get to know and leverage on this very interesting and powerful platform of PHP-GTK2!
