why in IE yahoo stock quote missing grid line & its color? the whole align also set up to left.

this not happen in my firefox mozilla.

Hi,

I believe the cause should be the css of your template.

First, try setting a fresh install of joomla (using only the default template that comes with the standard installation). Then intall yahoo stock quote and see if it runs ok on IE.

If it runs ok, install your joomla template and see if it still runs ok. If it does not, then you're certain that it's due to the css of your joomla template.

but i have the valid css code check and in firefox in went normal.

can it be the same with missing grid lines in thread PHP-GTK2 application? which someone mentioned about moving the exact script to after or before another script? because it delete the first alignment or border...

i have tested the module with new instalation of joomla (Joomla_1.0.15-Stable) and it happen to be the same. the grid line losing after a few second.

forgot to mention, that the grid line show for a few seconds before dissappeared.

are the new joomla 1.0.15 css cause this?

i noticed that when first show up it still have the grid lines and dissappeared after getting new data from yahoo finance.

and i also have tested 2 version of joomla (1.0.12 & 1.0.15) on my komputer and on my hosting. both test display the same result in IE (6 & 7), which is still had the bug (dissapeared grid lines).

i even view them through other ISP, but just the same again.

-Joomla is not the problem
-Joomla Template is not the problem
-Host is not the problem

now i'm completely clueless. :(

i tried stock quote for joomla 1.5 with joomla 1.5 (of course) and it missing grid lines too in IE, but not with firefox. could possibly it because of the update in 1.0.3 and 1.5.3?

New finding!

i found that if i didn't add www to myweb.com, the grid lines will hold on. if i input it www.myweb.com then the grid lines gone again.

myweb.com = OK
www.myweb.com = grid line & align gone

continues to studying error above

i found that on my computer, if i browse to localhost then the grid lines is missing, but i browse through 127.0.0.1 the grid lines will hold.

but if i browse www.myweb.com through other countries like USA, Canada, Europeans then amazingly the grid lines will hold on displaying.

my conclusion is that the problem bugs in if somehow it didn't get the IP Address, which of course in USA, Canada, etc the DNS server reside there, so if i browse www from my home country (INA) the bug appeared but if i didn't mentioned the www in my browser which of course the local dns server will search directly to its local database.

for the time being i resolve this problem by entering $mosConfig_live_site = 'http://'. $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST']; to my configuration.php.

its solve the problem for www either i browse it from my country or USA, but now the NO-www doesn't work/display :(. but i guess since many of us still use www to browse, then i guest its ok.
