Problem This is in response to jakh's post with regards to how to select a thumbnail image displayed in a GtkIconView with double click as shown below:

Solution To detect double-click on a thumbnail image, we use the signal item-activated. Note that this signal responds to both the double-click as well as pressing of the Enter key.
Sample Code Note: The following image files are required by the sample code below. Please save a copy of the image files and put them in the same directory where you store the sample code.
