Problem You would like to display grid lines in a GtkTreeView as shown below. In this Part 2, we show a treeview with a treestore (i.e. a tree structure).

Solution
- Set up the treeview with treestore as outlined in How to display a tree structure from array?
- To add the grid lines, use this method (available in gtk+2.10 and above):
GtkTreeView::set_grid_lines()
- The constants available are:
- Gtk::TREE_VIEW_GRID_LINES_NONE
- Gtk::TREE_VIEW_GRID_LINES_HORIZONTAL
- Gtk::TREE_VIEW_GRID_LINES_VERTICAL
- Gtk::TREE_VIEW_GRID_LINES_BOTH
Important Note: This only works for PHP-GTK2 compliled with gtk+ v2.10 and above. If you are using an older version, for linux, you may follow the step-by-step instructions to recompile php-gtk2 with gtk+ v2.10. For windows, please refer to How to install php gtk2 on windows?
