Aaaah! It was driving me crazy ;-) Thank you for clearing this up.
BTW, the extra image parameter is great though i am a CSS fan ;-)
My last thoughts:
Extended Article Parameter:
- Is it possible to use the ReadMore text from the articles extended parameters (if it is filled)? I used other extensions, which make a smart use of it: Please check out "Display News BK" and "Place Here".
include_intro
- I already had some include_intro, and i thought i could just add the readmore option... IMHO it makes sense to ADD a readmore to this call, too. Cause it mimics the J! display/logic... show intro ONLY... or show intro PLUS READMORE
Another question:
Does your IncludeContent Module support any other plugins? Can i add other plugin calls with their parameters...
Thank you again, for all the work.

Hello again... your plugin is almost perfect! Thanks again.
I am in a special situation... i mostly use your plugin for custom layouts... so i can place a special content or part of it on the "frontpage". I donīt need any user-unfriendly custom modules etc. The great benefit: The user can edit the content in the frontend!!!
Problem left:
If there are images in the article... i donīt want or need them on the frontpage!
Is it possible to ommit or strip out any IMG tags?!? At least for the intro.
I know about the workaround: Hide Intro in article fullview. But that means, the user have to enter his intro information TWICE. That is unacceptable.
TIA!!! !!!

Hi,
With PHP, anything is possible.
But I only know how to do it in Joomla 1.0, not in Joomla 1.5.
So try get one of your friends who knows PHP and Joomla 1.5. The key thing is you need to do a simple check whether the user is now at frontpage. If it's at frontpage, do not display any image. Otherwise, display the entire content.
It could be as simple as adding one additional PHP code to check for the frontpage.
Alternatively, if you can ask in the Joomla forum "how to check whether the user is now in frontpage for Joomla 1.5" and you manage to get that piece of code, I'll do the rest for you to modify the include_content_item plugin.

the frontpage check is not needed. I was speaking in general: Can you ommit/suppress the intro images with a parameter, even a default switch in the plugin prefs would be fine, too.
Hi,
If you don't mind doing it manually, it makes things much simpler. I'll try to add the additional parameter this weekend.
Your link to the conditional test for frontpage looks interesting. I'll need to do some test to see if it works.
Will let you know once it's done.

The parameter would be the most flexible solution i think (o.k. the parameter string is getting longer and longer now ;-)
It would come in handy to give a default parameter or switch, so one can decide with personal preferences and situations.
I like youe frontpage idea. Should this be handled as an extra option?!?
TIA!!! !!! !!!
