Hi,

1. Just try one first. Don't try two. Start with DirectPHP first.

2. Please try this on a fresh install of Joomla 1.0.15 first. It will allow you to know if it works on your system at all.

3. What is the PHP code that you have tried? (the example that you mentioned?)

4. Do you have a live page that shows the result?

5. You mentioned that you only see the text outside the php tags? You did not see any php tags? That's interesting. Because it means the tags are being processed. (If not, you would have seen the php tags.) You might want to double check your php statements to see if you echoed anything out. If there's no echo statement, there will be no ouput.

Please give some details of the things you have tried for (1) to (5) above. I need more details to be able to figure out what might have happened.

Regards,
/kksou

Hi,
I tried as you said...
I installed a new copy of joomla. (the same configuration as before), and disabled the WYSIWYG Editor.
I tried first only phpdirect, both in static content and in a news.
I tried the script:
Now is:

nothing...as before i see only the "now is:" words.

so i discard the "php direct" and installed the "direct php for s/c/d", and repeat the test for stati content and the news.

Unfortunately also in that case nothing worked as i hoped.

Online, I installed both the maboots.
My web site it's: http://www.asparapendionorma.net/

You can see the test in the static content: http://www.asparapendionorma.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=223&Itemid=223

tahnks,

Hi Cubo,

Very nice site of yours!

I took a look at the site: http://www.asparapendionorma.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=223&Itemid=223

If you do a view source, you will see the PHP codes there.

This means that DirectPHP has not been called at all!

Did you enable it? (Go to mambots - Site Mambots. Can you please double check that it's published?)

Regards,
/kksou

p.s. By the way,

1. Please just install DirectPHP and test this one first. Make sure this one work first before you try direct php for s/c/d.

2. You do not need to disable the TinyMCE WYSIWYG Editor. The main "advantage" about using DirectPHP (as oppose to using other PHP processing plugin) is that you can use it with the TinyMCE WYSIWYG Editor. What this means is that you can edit both your content as well as the PHP codes all in WYSIWYG mode.
You do not need to switch to the No Editor mode.
Of course, if you prefer to use the No Editor mode to code everything in plain HTML, it's fine with DirectPHP too. It can handle both modes internally.

Opsss....

It's look like I forgot something.

Ok, now everything works fine.

I used just a little piece of code to show's meteo and radar last images.
http://www.asparapendionorma.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=56&Itemid=56

But, by now i think that i can do thousands of things.

Thank you,
ciao
