My RSS feed isnt working correctly 3 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hi I have been having a problem with my rss syndicate module of joomla 1.5 it wont display the article titles when the feed is read.

Is there anyway I can fix this with Direct PHP.
It has been really bugging me and I was wondering if you could help.

I am using joomla 1.5
php 5.2
sh404

here is the link to the rss feed http://www.italkfilm.com/index.php/feed/rss.html

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

To fix this, you need to know what's the cause first.

It's impossible for me to know what's the cause just looking at the page.

However, if I were you I will try to look at the following:

1) First I will install a fresh install of Joomla 1.5 and test if the rss feed is working right. If it is, it tells me the cause might be one of the extensions that I've installed, or the sh404.

2) I will turn off sh404 and see if the rss feed is ok. If it's ok, then the cause is sh404.

If you could tell me the result of (1) and (2), may be I could help you zoom in further where might be the cause.

Well I took your suggestion and tested the mod_syndicate module on another 1.5 install without sh404 installed and low and behold it works perfectly fine . so it is a sh404 problem. I dunno why i never thought of testing it that way .

Maybe I should go try there support first maybe its just a setting that i can change.

But if you are willing to fix this that would be great as well.
